Substitutes, anyone?

Hi there, in last week’s post I promised you the substitutions for some common plastic household items and here they are:

REMEMBER!! There is always going to be some form of plastic exposure due to the modern environment. Make changes and enable your body to detox effectively. Uh oh! One other thing, your mattress, yes you read it correctly. Your mattress can be a main source of plastic exposure and many other dangerous chemicals because of flame-retardants and other protectives. Use mattresses that are organic and made from bamboo, cotton, wool, latex and other natural substances. Help the liver and help your immune system make the swap and getting your body going right. Here is your recipe for the week.

Start with a non-dairy milk of your choice (I like milkadamia) its macadamia milk.   1 ½ cups

  • ½ tablespoons of coconut oil
  • ½ tsp of vanilla
  • ½ tsp of cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Put everything in a small pot to bring to a boil
  • As it begins to boil start to whisk it about three minutes, then

Simmer 2 minutes on low. If you like sweetener, then use monk fruit or stevia

Drink up and enjoy! Start your day with this and use it to substitute for your coffee.

Till next time. Yours in health. Don’t forget to leave a comment below.
