Ann Gould is a Native Oregonian, and grew up locally outside of Stayton, OR. Her love of medicine started in high school as a Junior Volunteer at the Salem Hospital. She obtained her Bachelor of Science of Allied Health at Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, OR and worked for seven years in hospital laboratories in Ashland and Portland.

While in Portland Ann obtained her second Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant studies at OHSU. Soon after, she moved to Seattle, WA to begin her career working in a multidisciplinary clinic. During this time Ann was introduced to the benefits of Naturopathic and Holistic Medicine, and how these can be successfully integrated with Western Medicine and Family Practice.

The opportunities for this Physician Assistant continued, and opened the door to travel. Ann left the Pacific NorthWest and traveled to Texas and the U.S. Virgin Islands working in Family Practice and Urgent Care settings. It was during this time she learned to appreciate the importance of treating the whole patient. Respecting patients and their beliefs is the core of treating patients successfully. Ann moved back to the Pacific NorthWest in 2002 to be closer to family and friends where she continues to work in Family Practice.

She enjoys seeing patients of all ages treating their chronic and acute health conditions. Her special interest is preventative medicine, and the impact of nutrition and lifestyle. She lives in Stayton with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, exercising, reading, traveling and chasing her 3 kids.
