Alex is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of Oregon. He holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Corban University (2013) and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Western Oregon University (2009).

His extensive experience includes providing clinical counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. His specialties include supporting populations with relationship difficulties, couples therapy, career counseling, anxiety reduction, depression, and fitness-wellness management. Additionally, Alex has experience with polyamorous relationships and LGBTQ populations.

Alex relies on a person-centered approach to counseling. He believes each person responds to therapy differently and is best served by tailoring treatment around the person and their specific symptoms. His objective is to create a safe, supportive environment where each person can work toward their individual therapeutic goals at their own pace. 

Alex is a native Oregonian who believes in finding balance in all areas of life through the building of a strong support system comprised of strong outlets, positive relationships, and personal goals. He is an accomplished writer who has published 6 books. While he clearly enjoys writing, he also appreciates automotive sports, fitness, and planning social events.
